Michelin has launched the Agropressure app. The free app aims to increase productivity in the field through tire pressure recommendations. It is specifically designed for tractors that use Michelin Group brands.

Previously only accessible via website, Agropressure offers support for the operational balancing of tractors, helping to adjust the ideal tire pressure. Correct calibration is essential for the good performance of agricultural machinery, as tractors may need up to four pressure adjustments throughout the year.

According to the company, the proper use of this technology can result in fuel savings of 8,39%, in addition to increasing efficiency by 17,5%, ensuring better traction and less impact on the ground. The application uses parameters such as machine weight, speed, type of use and implements to calculate the ideal tire pressure.

Daniel Braz, B2B marketing director for Michelin South America, highlighted the importance of the app. He emphasized that the solution demonstrates Michelin's commitment to providing more than just tires, integrating connected technologies to increase productivity. Braz points out that properly adjusting tire pressure has a direct impact on increased productivity, reduced soil compaction and controlled operating costs.
