Massey Ferguson is back with the second season of Master Mechanic, the first Brazilian reality show focused on agribusiness. The new edition, which will be broadcast on the brand's YouTube channel on October 10, 17 and 24, promises to challenge and value agricultural mechanics, professionals who are essential to the efficiency of the Brazilian agricultural sector.

The reality show brings together six mechanics selected from Massey Ferguson dealerships in different states of Brazil, such as Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul. The competitors will be divided into pairs by lottery and will compete for the title of best mechanic in Brazil. This year's big challenge involves using a high-tech planting solution: the MF 8S tractor, together with the Momentum planter, which guarantee precision and productivity in the field.

Participants will face practical tests focused on the configuration and calibration of this equipment, which is essential for maximizing the efficiency of agricultural operations. Automation, the central theme of this season, reflects the growing insertion of cutting-edge technologies in the field. As explained by Bruno Pianca, service manager at Massey Ferguson, mechanics will have to demonstrate mastery of automated systems, since the correct adaptation of the tractor and implements is crucial for agricultural productivity.

“This season, the focus of the tests is automation, reflecting the technological evolution in the agricultural sector. The mechanics’ ability to adjust and calibrate automated systems will be fundamental, highlighting the importance of knowledge in technology and continuous training”, says Pianca.

Furthermore, he highlights that the technological evolution of agricultural machinery has transformed the profile of the modern mechanic. “Today, machines incorporate an extensive technological package, and mechanics need to not only know how to make adjustments, but also interpret and understand the technology involved. The sector is increasingly attracting young talents, who stand out for their ease in dealing with advanced technologies”, he adds.

Journalist and presenter Millena Machado will be in charge of hosting the reality show. The panel of judges will include: José Fernando Schlosser, professor at the Federal University of Santa Maria; Cezar Bronzati, member of the AGCO services team; and Sandra Nalli, founder of Escola do Mecânico.

In addition to the technical tests, the program will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes content and curiosities, presented by digital influencer and rural producer Fernando Viana.

The winning duo will each receive an exclusive trophy, R$20 each and a trip for two to Buenos Aires. The prize also includes a visit to the Massey Ferguson factory in General Rodriguez, Argentina, providing the winners with an immersive experience at one of the company’s largest facilities.
