Tractors from 75 to 370 hp are the launches that Massey Ferguson will highlight during the 41st Expointer, from August 25th to September 2nd, in Esteio (RS). The MF 8700 Dyna-VT line of tractors, which will be presented first-hand at Expointer 2018, was specially prepared to work with large implements, low fuel consumption and high operational performance. The brand will also present, for the first time in the South, the new series of MF 5700 and MF 4700 tractors from 75 to 105 hp.

In addition to the tractor launches, Massey Ferguson also takes the new platform to Expointer 2018 draper 9255, of 45 feet, for axial harvesters, the MF 8125 sprayer, of 2.500 liters, and the MF 500 and MF 700 CFS planters, which now have dosers Precision Planting.

“Given the positive projection for the grain harvest, from Moderfrota with an attractive interest rate and good profitability for the producer, agribusiness remains optimistic and in constant growth. To contribute to increasing crop productivity, Massey Ferguson brings to Expointer new, versatile machines and implements with cutting-edge technology”, says Eduardo Nunes, sales director at Massey Ferguson.

The brand highlights the following tractor launches at Expointer 2018:

MF 8700 Dyna-VT

The MF 8700 Dyna-VT series, which will be presented first-hand at Expointer 2018, brings to the Brazilian market the MF 8737 Dyna-VT model (370 hp) designed with the brand's global standard. Developed to maximize the performance of machines during work, the machine is characterized by robustness, high power, hydraulic system flow of 205 l/min and high torque. Specially prepared to work with large implements, low fuel consumption and high operational performance, the new product has a front hydraulic lift (as optional) and a rear hydraulic lift capacity of 12 tons.

The main differentiator of this series is the Dyna-VT transmission (CVT - Continuously Variable Transmission), which allows the operator to select the operating speed instead of gears. The technology guarantees better tractor performance by programming the correct speed for the operation, in which the transmission maintains the torque from the engine to the wheels without the interruptions common in gearboxes. With this, the tractor can work at speeds between 30 m/h and 42 km/h.

As an option, the machine can be equipped with the AgCommand technological system, which monitors the tractor remotely and uses the concept of telemetry, allowing the producer to view, from anywhere, all the work carried out by the equipment in the field.

Another highlight of the launch is the cabin, 30% larger than conventional cabins. All controls are ergonomically positioned on the armrest to the operator's right, facilitating access to the instrument panel. The new front axle suspension allows it to remain supported on the ground, increasing the tractor's traction efficiency by up to 25%. Equipped with an AGCO Power electronic engine, the MF 8700 Dyna-VT line complies with MAR-1 environmental legislation to reduce polluting gas emissions.

MF 5700

An evolution of the MF 4200, the tractors in the new MF 5700 line are available in platform and cab versions, ideal for farmers who need more resistant and robust machines. With more structured models, the MF 5709 has 95 hp and the MF 5710 delivers 105 hp.

Also equipped with an AGCO Power iEGR engine, the tractor offers the highest levels of torque, lifting capacity and flow (57 or 98 LPM) in its category. Developed with the brand's global standard, the MF 5700 arrives on the Brazilian market with the most modern features in the segment, such as a greater variety of working gear scaling due to the 12x12 transmission, linked to mechanical or electro-hydraulic reversion, as well as the MF 4700.

MF 4700

Also an evolution of one of the brand's most traditional tractor families, the MF 4200, the MF 4700 line was designed to increase performance and versatility in field activities. Available in platform and cabin versions, the machines have the highest lifting capacity and flow in the category (65 LPM) and reach the market in three models: MF 4707 (75 hp), MF 4708 (85 hp) and MF 4709 (95 hp ).

Ideal for silage, grains and horticulture, the launch has the largest range of working gears on the market - 24 forward and reverse gears -, as it has the option of asupercreeper, a super speed reducer.

With the new AGCO Power iEGR engine (pollutant emission control system), another difference of the new feature is also the versatility of the transmission, available in 8x8 options with mechanical reversal, or 12x12 with the option of mechanical or electro-hydraulic reversal. The new transmission is more modern and has an excellent cost-benefit ratio. Another positive point is the low power absorption, which generates high efficiency and fuel savings.

In addition to the tractor launches, Massey Ferguson brings the following new features of the year to Expointer 2018:

9255 Dynaflex Platform, 45 Feet

To expand the portfolio of platforms for axial harvesters, Massey Ferguson developed the 9255-foot 45 Dynaflex, with a transport size of 14,3 meters and a cutting size of 13,7 meters. With this new feature, the brand positions itself in the segment with the greatest variety of platforms draper, offering the farmer a range of products from 25 to 45 feet. Specially designed for the MF 9895 series, the new platform works with a low rate of grain loss, increasing delivery capacity. The cutting system with a flexible bar across the entire length allows for agile and uniform harvesting, in the most diverse soil conditions, optimizing harvest performance. To improve the machine's processing capacity, the 9255 platform has a rubber belt transport system, allowing the harvested material to all follow in the same direction, with better mass flow and homogeneous feeding.

MF 8125 sprayer

The MF 8125 model, with 170 hp of power, is a 2500 liter equipment that combines versatility, high daily productivity (ha/hour) and low fuel consumption. The machine also offers greater safety, operational comfort and, thanks to the spray controller, guarantees better control and quality in the application, avoiding pesticide waste and reducing environmental impact. The MF 8125 has automatic pilot and automatic closing of the standard spray sections and, as options, telemetry, automatic boom height sensor and automatic pilot with centimeter precision.

MF 500 and MF 700 CFS planters with Precision Planting

The well-known MF 500 and MF 700 CFS planter lines now feature pneumatic dosers Precision Planting, which provide greater performance and plantability to the equipment, resulting in better productivity in crops. Thanks to the new vSet seeding system, it is possible to guarantee more than 99% singulation. The singulator and crop-specific disc are simplified and do not require adjustment, avoiding calibration errors.

In addition to pneumatic dosers, the line of planters MF 500 was improved with a 20% increase in the capacity of the suspended seed box, ensuring greater working autonomy and availability of the machine in the field. The model also underwent small changes to the chassis, improving the planter's lines. The pneumatic system is equipped with vacuum hoses made of more resistant material and offers greater durability compared to the previous model.

Aimed at medium and large properties, the MF 500 is intended for planting coarse grains, with precise fertilizer distribution. Composed of a monobloc chassis and featuring polyethylene reservoirs and self-lubricating bushings at the articulation points, the equipment guarantees greater resistance and durability in the most diverse planting conditions.

Already MF 700 CFS It has versions from 11 to 30 lines and configuration availability in spacings of 45, 50, 76 and 90 cm. The highlight of the line is the central CFS (Central Fill System) seed box with a capacity of 1.450 liters, the largest in the category. Due to this system, the equipment can operate for long journeys and without stops, offering more agility in supply and high profitability for the producer. In addition to greater storage capacity, the planter has a wide range of options, such as three soil breakers and four depth limiters and seed compactors in the soil, enabling greater sowing yield and planting more hectares per hour.
