Massey Ferguson highlights its portfolio at Coopercitrus Expo 2026

Massey Ferguson is participating in Coopercitrus Expo 2026, from July 27th to 31st, in Bebedouro (SP), showcasing solutions focused on increasing productivity and operational efficiency in the field. In its 50th anniversary edition, the fair brings together farmers, specialists, and companies to present trends and innovations for the agricultural sector.

Among the technologies presented by Massey Ferguson at the fair are two integrated planting solutions developed for different production scales. Highlights include the combination of the MF 9S tractor and the 30- and 40-row Momentum planter, aimed at large-scale operations, and the combination of the MF 8S Xtra tractor and the 18- to 24-row Momentum planter, targeted at medium and large producers seeking to increase operational efficiency and agronomic quality of planting.

“Agriculture in Brazil is quite diverse, which demands planting solutions adapted to different realities. Our goal is to serve operations ranging from small to large, offering technology, precision, and operational control focused on real profitability, bringing the exact balance between field performance and the lowest cost per hectare worked,” says Kellen Bormann, Sales Director at Massey Ferguson. 

The planting solution, comprised of the MF 9S, Massey Ferguson's largest and most powerful tractor with up to 425 hp, and the Momentum planter with 30 and 40 rows, was developed to serve large areas with a focus on productivity, automation, and precision agriculture.

The tractor incorporates features such as MF AutoTurn and AutoHeadland, which automate maneuvers and headland operations, reducing misses and overlaps during planting. The new generation of the Momentum tractor utilizes technologies like Smart Frame and Weight Transfer, which promote automatic weight distribution along the machine, contributing to greater uniformity in seed placement depth.

“Field trials demonstrate gains of up to 3% in soybean productivity and 2,3% in second-crop corn, a direct reflection of better emergence and initial vigor of the crops, which can represent up to R$ 465 per hectare in economic return for the producer,” highlights Breno Cavalcanti, Marketing Director of Massey Ferguson.

Solutions enhance operational efficiency.

For expanding producers, Massey Ferguson presents the combination of the MF 8S Xtra tractor and the Momentum planter with 18 to 24 rows. The solution brings together features focused on operational efficiency and the rational use of inputs, including the vApply Granular system for fertilizer control and precision agriculture technologies that allow for detailed monitoring of operations.

The MF 8S Xtra tractor, recognized as the most economical on the market by DLG PowerMix, a world reference in tractor evaluation, features the Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission, a reversible fan for automatic cleaning of the cooling system, and a controlled traffic system that allows all agricultural operations to be performed always in the same tracks, improving crop development and optimizing the use of resources. 

In common, planting solutions are based on connectivity and the use of data for decision-making. Telemetry allows for real-time monitoring of indicators such as fuel consumption, performance, and maintenance, contributing to reduced costs and increased predictability of operations. "By integrating tractors, planters, and digital systems, the goal is to make planting an increasingly precise operation, with a direct impact on productivity and profitability throughout the growing season," argues Cavalcanti.
