Massey Ferguson announces arrival of its line of MF 8S series tractors

In a global event called Landing on Earth, the Massey Ferguson, announced this Friday, 24th, the launch of the new series of MF 8S tractors. The equipment offers comfort and efficiency for connected, intelligent and sustainable agriculture.

Designed after seven years of testing around the world in a variety of conditions and long consultations with farmers, the MF 8S series delivers what operators want. “Our visionary concept of MF NEXT, first presented at the Agritechnica fair in 2019, has become a reality. We are not just launching a tractor, but also marking a new era for our brand”, says Thierry Lhotte, vice-president and general director of Massey Ferguson for Europe and the Middle East. 

The MF 8S series has four models that offer a maximum power of 265 hp, all supplied by the EPM (Engine Power Management) system and AGCO Power engine. Its cabin offers comfort, space and connectivity, in addition to significantly reducing noise, heat and vibration levels. Smart farming features are provided by the intuitive digital dashboard “MF vDisplay” and the Datatronic 5 terminal. The new Dyna E-Power dual-clutch transmission combines the benefits of available technologies.

The expectation is that the new tractors will arrive in South America starting next year. Argentina and other countries in the South American region should have experience with the machine in 2021 and the Brazilian market in 2023.
