María Pisanu takes over management at CampoLimpio Argentina

CampoLimpio, responsible for the management system for empty agrochemical containers in Argentina, is entering a new phase with the appointment of María Julia Pisanu (pictured) as CEO. In her new role, she will coordinate specialized teams and represent CampoLimpio in strategic engagements with public and private authorities. Currently the Legal and Regulatory Affairs Manager, she will take up the position on April 1, replacing Ignacio Stegmann, who is leaving the role to focus on personal and professional projects.

A lawyer from the National University of Córdoba, Pisanu specializes in corporate law and triple-impact organizations. For more than five years at CampoLimpio, she has closely followed the evolution of the management system, delving into regulatory issues and strengthening relationships with participating provinces.

“We are at a key moment for the management of empty packaging. To move forward with the implementation of the system, we need the engagement of all stakeholders in the agricultural sector, ensuring cleaner productive land. My goal will be to strengthen collaboration between industry, government and the value chain, ensuring compliance with Law 27.279, improving packaging recovery and promoting the safe revaluation of plastic,” said Pisanu.

Since 2019, the system has recovered more than 18 million kilos of empty agrochemical packaging. Its territorial reach extends across 21 provinces, with more than 90 Temporary Storage Centers (CSTs), in addition to educational and awareness-raising actions for different audiences in the sector.

With this new leadership, CampoLimpio reinforces its commitment to sustainable development and efficient management of agricultural waste in Argentina.
