Harvest of the first bean crop in Paraná ends
Even with reduced productivity due to weather conditions, the beans harvested are of excellent quality.
Mahindra, a company focused on small and medium producers, recorded a 40% increase in tractor orders during the 21st Edition of Expoagro Afubra, a fair dedicated to family farming. The result is attributed to the positive perception of producers regarding the characteristics of Mahindra tractors, such as fuel economy and low maintenance, according to the CEO of Mahindra Brazil, Jak Torretta.
However, Torretta highlights that the lack of resources for the Mais Alimentos Program (PRONAF) may make it difficult to fulfill many of these requests. He emphasizes the need for governments to pay attention to this issue, as many producers need to renew or purchase their first tractor to increase productivity and reduce production costs.
The company offers 11 tractor models in its portfolio, with powers ranging from 25 to 110 hp, six of which are available for rural financing through BNDES. During the fair, Mahindra exhibited tractors such as the 86-110 Premium Cabinado, 9500S Cabinado, 6075, 6060, 5050, the compact 2025 and the 600-liter Mahindra by Mitra Pulverizador, developed especially for producers of fruit, grapes, oranges, mango and coffee.
Public service at the fair was provided by five dealerships that serve the region and nearby municipalities, including Techmaq Mahindra in Camaquã. It announced that it will open a branch in Santa Cruz do Sul in the second half of this year. William Dorneles, one of Techmaq's directors, celebrates the expansion and believes in the city's potential and Mahindra's success in the region, where 80% of producers are small and medium-sized.
