With a total focus on family farming, Mahindra launches the 5050 hp 49 model at the 20th Edition of Expoagro Afubra. The tractor, which has multifunctionality as its main feature, will attract the attention of tobacco growers as it has a rear wheel suitable for tobacco crops. It is also recommended for small areas, such as fruit and vegetable crops.

“Growth in the compact segment is 47%, which translates into an increase in sales of tractors with up to 50 hp. Aware of this market niche, we launched the 5050, a tractor that will meet the needs of producers looking for a multitasking machine, combined with the brand's characteristics such as fuel economy, strength, low maintenance and also with the best guarantee in the Brazilian market” , explains Gilberto Dutra, Product Marketing specialist at Mahindra.

At the Mahindra stand, tractors ranging from 25 hp to 95 hp are on display. In addition to the launch, highlights include the Nationalized 6000 Line tractors and the 2025 model with L15 loader. Of the 11 models in the portfolio, six can now be purchased through rural financing lines – BNDES. The brand also has its own incentive options such as Mahindra Finance and the Mahindra National Consortium, offering other options for producers to purchase a Mahindra.

The Brazilian subsidiary was the tractor brand that grew the most in recent years and exceeded expectations in 2021, reaching rates of 92%, while Brazilian Industry grew 26%. “This development clearly shows the strength of our brand and the perfect adaptation of Mahindra tractors to the Brazilian market. The average annual working hours of tractors in India are higher than the national average, which guarantees superior robustness and durability. With each demonstration action, we translate Mahindra's global strength to Brazilian producers, building a relationship of trust and partnership with the brand”, concludes Jak Torretta Jr., general director of Mahindra Brazil.
