Mahindra, a tractor manufacturer and brand known for its service to family farming, launches the 2025 25hp model, at the 19th edition of Expoagro Afubra - which takes place from March 26th to 28th, in Rincão del Rey, Rio Pardo/RS. The tractor is suitable for severe applications, for the Brazilian market, especially tobacco producers, fruit and vegetable growers and grape producers. As it is subcompact, it is accessible for work in greenhouses and narrow streets, where maneuvering space is limited, as well as flowerbeds of up to 80 cm.
The new model, a product already existing in other markets such as Southeast Asia, Oceania, the United States and Mexico, arrives in Brazil to complement the portfolio of Mahindra tractors, which is made up of models from 25hp to 95hp. The 2025 tractor will be sold throughout the country in the first half of 2019.
The new Mahindra 2025 tractor will compete for the Afubra/Nimeq Award for Technological Innovation in Agricultural Machines for Family Farming in the Company category, aimed at presenting technological innovations in machines, equipment and/or agricultural components aimed at family farming. Promoted by the Brazilian Tobacco Growers Association (Afubra) and the Center for Innovation in Agricultural Machinery and Equipment at the Federal University of Pelotas (NIMEq/UFPel), the award aims to contribute to improving agricultural productivity and quality of life for populations rural areas and environmental preservation linked to family-based agriculture through accessible inventions that make the lives of rural producers easier.
