From February 05th to 09th, 2024, Mahindra will be present at the Coopavel Rural Show, the first event of the year on the calendar of major fairs on the national circuit. The company is presenting tractors from 25 to 110 hp: 2025 (25 hp), 5050 (49 hp) + T41 front loader, 6065 (65 hp) Platform, 6075 E (80 hp) Cabin + 1.500 liter Mahindra sprayer, 6075 (80 hp) Cabinado, 86-110 Premium (110 hp) and the 9500S (95 hp), which was nicknamed “Bruto” and is the highlight of the company's stand at the fair.

“Due to the characteristics of its agriculture, Paraná is a strategic state for Mahindra. More than 80% of total tractor sales in Paraná are below the 120 horsepower power range, exactly the tractors in our product portfolio. We couldn’t be left out.”, explains Jak Torretta Jr., CEO of Mahindra in Brazil.

To serve the rural producer present at the event, teams from Paraná concessionaires will be present: Agronômica, KR Máquinas, Lar Máquinas, and Nosso Campo.

Market

For the tractor industry, 2023 was a difficult year. Factors such as the El Niño phenomenon, scarcity of Pronaf and Pronamp resources, high interest rates for financing outside BNDES programs and agricultural prices, in general, lower than last year, resulted in a 15% drop compared to 2022. In segment of small and medium producers, the drop was even greater, reaching 18%.

“However, Mahindra continues to grow in Brazil. Despite the 18% drop in the segment in which the company operates, we managed to grow 6% compared to 2022. In other words, a performance well above the industry average”, celebrates the CEO.
