Event will showcase the potential of canola in Brazil
The XI Canola Course, scheduled for March 21st, in Passo Fundo, RS, has the theme “Get the management right and reap results”
The opening of Expodireto Cotrijal, one of the largest Brazilian agribusiness fairs, with international significance, which took place from March 11 to 15, was attended by the vice-president of the Republic, Hamilton Mourão, the Minister of Agriculture, Tereza Cristina, and of the governor of Rio Grande do Sul, Eduardo Leite. According to the organizers, this 20th edition was the biggest and best fair of all time.
And, for the Mahindra, it was no different. Compared to last year, sales exceeded expectations by 9%. RS dealers received caravans of producers curious about the Mahindra world. Tractors from 25hp to 95hp were introduced. But it was the launch, the 2025 model, that caught the most attention from grape producers, coming from Caxias do Sul/RS. Line S and the 6000 series also gained special attention from visiting producers.
Also noteworthy is the participation of the American Cleo Frankilin, vice-president of Marketing, Dealer Development and Strategyr for Latin America. Participatory, he gave interviews to the press, analyzed the market and the behavior of local rural producers. For Frankilin, being present at major Brazilian fairs is fundamental to understanding and translating the needs of rural people. “I can observe and feel what the producer needs. How he acts and how we should lead the Brazilian brand”, he concluded.
