Mahindra Brazil will complete ten years of operation under the direct management of the Mahindra Group in the country in October 2026. The company began its Brazilian operations in 2012 and, four years later, took over the direct operation of the national factory, with Jak Torretta Jr. at the head of the subsidiary.

According to the company, more than 13 tractors of the brand are currently in operation in Brazil. The service network includes approximately 90 sales and technical assistance points distributed throughout the country.

The Brazilian trajectory is part of a global history that began more than 80 years ago with the Mahindra Group. In the agricultural machinery segment, the company operates in different markets and maintains Brazil among its strategic operations for the brand's expansion.

Over the past decade, the company has expanded its presence in the Brazilian tractor market, with models ranging from 25 to 110 hp. The portfolio focuses primarily on smaller and medium-sized farms and applications associated with family farming.

According to Mahindra, the equipment is developed with a focus on robustness, operational simplicity, and reduced maintenance costs. The company also claims that some of its models have up to 15% lower fuel consumption than competing machines in the same category. However, this percentage depends on operating conditions and the models used in the comparison.

The expansion of the dealer network is another aspect highlighted by the company. In addition to selling machines, the service points offer maintenance services, technical support, and parts availability.

To enhance the network's capabilities, Mahindra plans to resume, this fiscal year, the Rise Academy, a technical and commercial training program aimed at dealers. The initiative seeks to update knowledge about products, services, and customer service.

New products

The company is also working on expanding its portfolio for the Brazilian market. According to Mahindra, future product launches will be defined based on market research, field evaluations, and demands identified among producers.

The strategy takes into account different production systems and regional characteristics, paying special attention to the needs of family farming.

For Jak Torretta Jr., CEO of Mahindra Brazil, the ten years of operation under the group's management represent a stage of consolidation for the company in the national market.

“Reaching 10 years of Mahindra Brazil is a source of great pride for all of us. This story was built by many hands and belongs to everyone who believed in our purpose and walked alongside us throughout this journey,” he states.

The company plans to continue expanding its Brazilian operations in the coming years, with investments in products, network training, and support for producers.
