Massey Ferguson is presenting the MF 9S tractor for the first time in Argentina during Agroactiva 2026. The event takes place until June 6th in Armstrong, in the province of Santa Fe. This model represents the largest and most powerful tractor from the brand, with a power output of 425 horsepower.
The series caters to large-scale agricultural operations. The design incorporates smart farming technologies. The package includes automatic driving, operating assistants, and real-time remote monitoring.
According to the company, the MF 9S inaugurates a high-power segment in the brand's portfolio. The series uses a Dyna-VT continuously variable transmission as standard. The system delivers greater torque and power without gear changes.
The tractor incorporates an AGCO Power six-cylinder, 8,4-liter engine. The line offers power outputs from 345 to 425 horsepower. The fuel tank holds 660 liters. The equipment also has a 68-liter AdBlue tank. The engine can operate on HVO fuel.
Automation is featured in the MF Guide autopilot. The system maintains tractor alignment. MF AutoTurn directs the machine to the next pass. AutoHeadland executes commands at the beginning and end of each row. The goal is to reduce operator intervention and increase operational efficiency.
Connectivity is achieved using MF Connect. The platform allows monitoring of fuel consumption, location, and machine performance. The producer can perform remote management and diagnostics in real time. The FarmEngage platform combines agronomic data and connects existing machines on the property, including those from other brands.
The cabin utilizes the Protect-U design. An 18-centimeter space separates the engine from the cabin. This solution reduces vibration, heat, and noise. The reported noise level reaches 69 decibels. The internal volume reaches 3,4 cubic meters. The glazed area totals 6,6 square meters.
The hydraulic system can deliver up to 400 liters per minute at 1.850 revolutions per minute. The exportable oil capacity reaches 101 liters. The rear hitch can lift up to 20 tons. The front hitch has a capacity of 5 tons.
