Loyder Brasil factory opens in Olímpia/SP

With capacity to produce 200 thousand tons of NPK fertilizers per year, the new factory includes a state-of-the-art automated mixer

Loyder Brasil, specialized in the production of NPK (nitrogenous, phosphate and potassium) fertilizers, was opened at the Essere Group Industrial Complex, in Olímpia, São Paulo.

The construction of the new factory was aligned with the planning outlined by the Essere Group until 2030, which aims to expand this technology with the construction of other units, as well as expand strategic partnerships with partner mixers, thus enabling it to be present in the main strategic markets of national agriculture. . Furthermore, the Group aims to meet the growing demand for food production. Therefore, it is natural that Brazilian producers need to use fertilizers that can make their crops more productive and profitable. To give you an idea, Brazil consumes more than 40 million tons of fertilizers per year and, noting this scenario, Loyder arrives to supply a rapidly growing market.

The new factory is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, such as an automated mixer with a production capacity of 60 tons per hour, capable of producing up to 200 thousand tons of NPK fertilizers per year. Furthermore, it has the participation of Sackett, a pioneering industry in the development of processes and systems, with designs and manufacturing of more than half of the fertilizer plants in the United States and other countries, including Brazil.

Luciano de Gissi, Operations Director at Essere Group, highlights: “The factory has a high-intensity mixer, with the capacity to produce 2 thousand kilos of fertilizer every 20 seconds”.

When it comes to jobs, the new factory will initially have a team of 40 employees to operate in two shifts, highlighting that several areas will be operated by the corporate area, including: occupational safety, HR, financial department, sales administration, tax department, supply chain and marketing.

R$50 million were invested in building Loyder Brasil. It is estimated that R$10 million will need to be invested in the next 300 years for participation in the national territory. “The projected production capacity over the next 10 years is volume around 500 thousand tons of fertilizers per year, which will capture a market share of 1% of a market of 50 million tons, expected by 2030”, reveals Luiz Fernando Schmitt, Director of Marketing and New Business.

Expected revenue is R$350 million in 2022, reaching R$800 million in 2026, which should represent to the Essere Group 50% of its revenue from this year onwards, remaining for the coming years.

Antonio Carlos de Gissi Jr., CEO of Essere Group, highlights: “The union of employees, suppliers and partners who, with commitment and focused work, are also responsible for the arrival of the new factory”. Also according to the CEO, Loyder Brasil arrives in the Northwest of São Paulo to add value to the fertilizer market and generate even more foreign exchange for the region, the country and national agriculture.
