To the corn prices continue to rise in the Brazilian market, as pointed out Cepea data. This scenario is linked to the decrease in the supply of sellers, who continue to pay attention to the harvest of the second crop and the reduction in productivity, as a result of development hampered by drought and frosts.

O ESALQ/BM&FBovespa indicator (Campinas/SP) rose 1,41% from July 23 to 30, closing at R$ 101,40/bag of 60 kilos on Friday, 30th – in July, the accumulated high was 13,21%.

At the Paraná, Seab/Deral indicates a 58% drop in production in relation to expectations initial (from 14,6 million tons), rising to 6,1 million tons. In Mato Overall, Imea points to a drop in productivity, from 106,29 bags/hectare in January to 93,8 sc/ha in July, which should result in production of 32 million tons, a reduction of 4 million tons in relation to expectations and almost 3 million tons compared to the previous year.
