RS 2024/25 Harvest: wet weather delays winter planting
Excessive rains affect the schedule of wheat, barley and white oat crops
Kuhn do Brasil was present at Bahia Farm Show 2025, which takes place from June 09 to 14 in Luis Eduardo Magalhães (BA), with an exclusive space to welcome rural producers and present its latest innovations. At the brand's stand, visitors will be able to see up close the solutions developed to increase productivity in the field and facilitate day-to-day operations, with highlights including two new launches: the SB square baler and the Elite planter.
The SB Baler arrives on the market as an ally for efficiency and savings. The equipment incorporates the exclusive Kuhn Power Density System, which guarantees high-density and uniform bales. Other distinguishing features of the machine include the large-diameter flywheel, which reduces fuel consumption and equipment wear; the modern and functional design, which facilitates access for maintenance; the Integral Rotor, responsible for a continuous and efficient flow of material; and the storage capacity for up to 32 spools of twine, optimizing operating time.
The Elite Planter was developed with a focus on the needs of producers and features cutting-edge technology to increase productivity. One of the model's great attractions is its self-transportability system, which allows the machine to be closed to just 3,20 meters wide in less than two minutes. This feature provides agility and practicality in moving the planter through different areas of the property, in addition to facilitating transportation on a flatbed.
“Bahia Farm Show is a strategic opportunity to demonstrate, in practice, how technology applied to the field can transform routines and enhance results, especially in one of the regions that is most important to us today”, highlights Lucas Moraes Castro, Marketing and Network Development Manager, in reference to the growing importance of the MATOPIBA region in the national agriculture and livestock sector.
