CDE/FCO approves more than R$65 million for projects in Goiás
At a meeting, 43 consultation letters were approved, with the expectation of allocating resources to 26 municipalities
Jundiaí grape producers now have access to the Jundiaí Municipal Agribusiness Support Program (Proaj), which aims to encourage registered and qualified grape producers in the municipality through an economic subsidy, worth a maximum of R$ 300.000,00. to be apportioned between the registered properties. The maximum amount to be paid per productive hectare will be up to R$ 3.000,00 and with a limit of ten productive hectares per benefited property.
The Agribusiness, Supply and Tourism Unit (Ugaat) of Jundiaí City Hall receives registrations, which close until September 1st. To be eligible, the farmer simply needs to produce grapes, on a commercial scale, on properties located entirely or partially in the municipality, as long as the planted areas that will receive the benefit are in the Jundiaí portion.
Other farmer promotion and protection programs will also be strengthened starting next year. The Municipal Agricultural Subsidy Program (Rural Insurance), in 2024, will increase from 15% to 20% of the policy value. The Payment Program for Environmental Services (PSA), aimed at preserving native vegetation and forest, will increase from 1,5 to 2,0 UFM (Municipal Fiscal Unit) per hectare of vegetated area.
“With all these measures, we reinforce public policies in agriculture in Jundiaí. Both for the protection of water sources and rural producers, and for the supply of quality food, through agribusiness promotion programs. Since 2017, there has been an almost 500% increase in the Agribusiness and Tourism budget in the city”, reinforced the Government and Finance manager, José Antônio Parimoschi.
“Grapes are the main crop in our city, which is why it is so important to strengthen producers. And this is yet another public development policy that shows how committed we are to increasingly increasing investments in agribusiness”, recalled Ugaat manager, Eduardo Alvarez.
