John Deere launches G5e Universal and CommandCenter monitors.

John Deere announced on Tuesday (February 10th) the launch of the new G5e Universal and G5e CommandCenter monitors, developed to expand access to the company's precision agriculture technologies. The equipment was designed as a scalable gateway to the brand's digital ecosystem, serving farmers, ranchers, and producers who are starting to use these tools or operate with mixed fleets.

The G5e monitors offer a simplified and affordable solution, allowing users to access features such as operations documentation, guidance, section control, and connectivity with the John Deere Operations Center. The goal is to facilitate the adoption of precision agriculture without the need for high initial investments.

“The G5e helps make John Deere precision agriculture technology more accessible, especially for farmers and ranchers who are just starting to use these tools, enabling them to see real benefits from the beginning,” says Ryan Stien, John Deere Precision Agriculture Marketing Manager.

Featuring an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless connectivity, ISObus certification, and compatibility with tractors, implements, and utility vehicles, the G5e allows for quick installation and broad integration with different types of machinery. The monitor also offers wireless data transfer and remote access, optimizing the management of field operations.

Available in Universal and CommandCenter versions, the G5e features optional and scalable licenses, such as AutoTrac and Section Control, allowing producers to gradually expand the use of technologies as their operational needs evolve.

According to the company, the G5e's key differentiator lies in its combination of ease of use and integration with John Deere's connected ecosystem, offering greater value over time. The solution expands access to precision agriculture tools, contributing to gains in productivity, operational efficiency, and improved decision-making quality.

“We designed the G5e to support customers who are taking their first steps in precision agriculture, offering the flexibility to evolve when they are ready,” concludes Stien.

The models are not yet available in Brazil. According to John Deere, the launch in the Brazilian market is scheduled for the end of 2026.
