John Deere expands seeding capacity with C1450T

John Deere has announced the C1450T pneumatic trailer, the highest-capacity model in the C-Series line. The equipment aims to increase the area sown between refills and reduce downtime in large agricultural operations.

The C1450T combines AccuRate metering systems, the EZCal calibration system, and connectivity to the John Deere Operations Center. The platform calculates the remaining time and area before tank emptying. This feature requires seeders with G5 or G5Plus CommandCenter monitors and a G5 Advanced license. The function operates with fixed or variable rate application.

AccuRate dispensers utilize corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Each unit features electric drive and individual speed control. The configuration allows for higher-resolution prescription execution, curve compensation, and section control via SectionCommand Pro.

The EZCal system performs calibration with a single button. This solution eliminates the need to access the underside of the trailer and reduces steps in the manual procedure. ActiveCal provides real-time data on product levels and application performance.

Five tanks

The new trailer has five tanks. The first includes a Flex Tank with a capacity of 105 bushels. This compartment can hold seeds, fertilizers, canola, or inoculants. The combination of tanks allows for the transport of up to five products and the mixing of fertilizers within the equipment.

The EZLift system lifts big bags to fill the first three tanks. The mechanism reaches loads positioned on the ground, in trailers, dump trucks, or on the side storage platform.

A hydraulic conveyor, 40,6 centimeters wide, speeds up refueling. The assembly features a stainless steel hopper and more space in relation to the rear tires. The front platform has been fitted with steps to facilitate passage over the hitch.

John Deere also offers AccuRate metering systems as an upgrade for 1910 trailers with two or three tanks and for the C650 and C850 models. The RelativeFlow system monitors product flow in each line and issues blockage alerts in the cab.
