Considered one of the rare segments that practically does not feel the effects of the crisis caused by the new coronavirus pandemic, agribusiness is able to maintain assets in different segments. In the agricultural machinery sector, the tendency is for most companies to close 2020 with better results than last year. This scenario keeps business booming, so much so that Tramontini, a company that exclusively represents the Italian automaker Antonio Carraro, has just announced that it will open, on October 15th, the first tractor store in Bento Gonçalves, in Rio Grande do Sul .
The Tramontini and Antonio Carraro partnership began in 2016, with the aim of introducing special tractors for crops in mountainous regions into the Brazilian market. According to Tramontini's executive director, Ubirajara Choairi, the tendency is for the company to continue investing in opening other stores in Serra Gaúcha.
"Our goal is to be increasingly closer to the producer and show that there is a technology aimed at agility in maneuvers, stability in rough terrain, versatility in movement and comfort for the operator. Therefore, we are working with the possibility of opening new units in neighboring cities ", reveals Choairi. The executive also highlights that, in addition to bringing technology to Serra, Tramontini is boosting the city's economy. "For this operation, we are prioritizing partnerships with small implement factories in Serra, in addition to prioritizing local labor, generating direct and indirect jobs," he says.
Tramontini's engineering sector has developed national components that are gradually being added to Italian tractors, at the factory located in Venâncio Aires. These are special tractors used especially for mountainous and difficult-to-access regions. Developed to provide greater safety for the operator, they present high performance, are compact, have a low center of gravity, differential lock and reduced turning radius. "While a conventional agricultural tractor operates, at the limit, at 12 degrees of inclination, Italian tractors can be used in places with up to 25 degrees of inclination safely", explains sales manager, Everton Coutinho.
