Embrapa Agroenergia is selecting an intern to work with Web development in Django (Python) at the Bioenergy Bioinformatics Laboratory, in Brasília/DF (end of Asa Norte). To apply for the position, you must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in an area related to Information Technology (IT). For 30 hours per week (flexible hours), the scholarship is worth R$600,00 for undergraduates or R$1.160,00 for master's students; the intern also receives R$ 132,00 as transportation allowance.
Whoever is selected will be responsible for developing and maintaining Web systems, in addition to preparing technical documentation. Desirable but not mandatory knowledge is: Python (Django), HTML, JavaScript (jQuery), CSS (Bootstrap), basic notions of Database (PostgreSQL) and Linux environment. Researcher Eduardo Formighieri, who will be the internship supervisor, says that it also takes a lot of willingness to learn new technologies. The intern will develop his work within a multidisciplinary research team, composed of a researcher, three doctors, two masters and a senior developer.
