When selecting products for application in agriculture, it is essential to consider not only the type of input, but also its compatibility with biologicals and inoculants. This attention is increasingly important given the wide range of solutions available on the market, which require producers to be careful to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the mixtures.

One example is boron, a micronutrient essential for plant development. Various sources of this element are available, and both the raw material and the final product can vary between manufacturers. These differences can directly affect the effectiveness of inoculants and biological products if applied together without compatibility studies, potentially leading to undesirable physical or chemical reactions.

In soils with low boron content, a common practice is to provide part of the recommended dose along with inoculants and biological products in the planting furrow. This is possible, but requires care regarding the source used and its compatibility. Otherwise, the result may be compromised.
