Agrivalle, a company in the bioinputs, biological products, plant nutrition, adjuvants and inoculants segment, held the third edition of Agro em Debate on sustainability in coffee production, with the presence of women who work in the development of the crop in Brazil.

On the occasion, Eligiane Stabili, marketing manager for perennial crops at Agrivalle, and agronomist engineer Isabella Kitano, a researcher at Agrivalle, focused on the areas of biotechnology and agricultural microbiology, talked about how to use bioinputs for nutrition to protect coffee, leading to the increase productive.

According to Eligiane, all phases of coffee cultivation deserve special attention, mainly because good observation and management practices help to always maintain quality production, enabling it to grow in a sustainable way.

"Sustainability is a trend in this market. Consumers are increasingly demanding about what they consume, but also about the production process of cultivation. And we at Agrivalle are very concerned about this, that is, about bringing solutions that meet these needs, to produce with quality, but to form sustainably” explains Eligiane.

With concepts linked to the company's pillars, Agrivalle brings tools and mechanisms that allow agricultural producers to enhance, activate and protect their cultivation, in addition to promoting an even more sustainable soil-plant relationship, through management focused on soil regeneration , and thus, activating the beneficial soil biota.

Briefly, the marketing manager explains that within the Activation and Enhancement pillar, coffee producers can find ways to provide nutrients and stimuli in an intelligent and gradual way to their plants. "To help supply energy and metabolize and structure plants, we have Blum CaB2, a calcium and boron solution that helps with flowering and reducing floral abortion. AminoCarb is a solution with a mix of vegetable and mineral amino acids. essential that help in the transport of nutrients and also in photosynthetic activity, GramTop has a rich combination of molybdenum, manganese and zinc that are complexed with amino acids and together, support vegetative development in the plant. BoroPlex is a source of boron complexed and in high concentration, which helps to increase the performance and resistance of plants. For the grain filling phase, we have Finaliser, with macronutrients that help in the growth and maturation of grains, with a chlorine-free formulation” explains Eligiane.

Furthermore, the use of biostimulants, in an integrated manner, is one of the ways to enhance production, as they act as metabolic activators, enhancing the absorption of nutrients and helping with cellular structuring, whether in vegetation, flowering or reestablishment. of the plant under a situation of water or thermal stress. And for this, we have Algon, which is a composition of algae extract, amino acids and magnesium that will help in the tolerance of water stress and the preservation of chlorophyll, in this way, this product, when applied preventively, allows the plant to recover more quickly, through the action of these mix of components that will supply energy to the plant so that it can be used efficiently and in times of greatest need.

In the Productivity Protection pillar, the company aims to provide solutions with multifunctional formulations, capable of controlling insects and diseases and keeping plants safe until harvest, as well as providing mechanisms and tools for the plant to produce more. “Multifunctional protection also involves the application of several microorganisms so that pathogens do not reach vital plant structures, thus creating a biological barrier”, adds Eligiane.

For the Soil Regeneration pillar, Agrivalle combines products and microorganisms that seek to bring more effectiveness to production as a whole, in addition to increasing and stimulating the beneficial biota of the soil, contributing to regenerating the life of this soil. In this sense, the company has in its portfolio Profix, a bionematicide that provides the greatest spectrum of action in the control of phytonematodes due to the mix of microorganisms and Shocker, a multi-protection biofungicide with a broad spectrum of action that, in addition to protection, favors the balance of microorganisms beneficial in the soil and benefits plant nutrition, providing a healthy environment for roots to explore a greater volume of soil, favoring nutrition and enabling better expression of the genetic potential of crops.
