Soybean exports remain strong in June.
The forecast from the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) for Brazil this Thursday (February 11th) and Friday (June 12th) indicates showers in the Southeast region, with the highest accumulations in São Paulo and Minas Gerais, while the rest of the region will experience stable weather. Similar conditions are seen throughout the Central-West region, particularly in Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul, with the possibility of rain in the Federal District. Showers persist in much of the North region.
The states of Amazonas, Acre, Roraima, and Amapá have the highest rainfall totals in the region. In the Northeast, showers are expected in the states of Maranhão, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba, and Pernambuco. Due to an area of instability, the Southern region will face showers with thunderstorms, particularly in western and central-western Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul.
For Thursday (11) and Friday (12), the forecast indicates the maintenance of unstable areas over much of the North Region, favoring the occurrence of rain showers. The largest accumulations and the most significant volumes of precipitation should occur between the center and north of the region, where weather warnings of intense rain remain in effect. The exceptions are Acre and the southeastern portion of Pará, where the forecast is only for isolated showers without significant accumulations. In Tocantins, the weather remains stable throughout the period, with sunshine predominating and no rain forecast.
Minimum temperatures are expected in southern Rondônia, with values close to 19°C. In the rest of the region, minimum temperatures will range between 22°C and 24°C. The highest maximum temperatures are forecast for Tocantins, potentially reaching 34°C.
In the Northeast Region, between Thursday (11) and Friday (12), the forecast for rain is concentrated mainly in the coastal strip. The exception occurs in Maranhão, where the instabilities spread to the interior of the state, favoring the occurrence of rain in the north-central part of Maranhão.
In Bahia, no rain is expected; dry weather will prevail during this period. In other inland areas of the Northeast region, the weather will also remain stable.
The lowest temperatures in the region are expected to be recorded in the interior of Bahia, with lows around 16°C. The highest highs are forecast for the interior of Piauí and could reach 36°C on Thursday. On Friday, maximum temperatures are expected to reach around 34°C in Teresina and São Luís.
On Thursday (11), there is a possibility of rain in the states of Mato Grosso, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul and the Federal District, possibly in the form of showers in the central-west of Mato Grosso, south of Goiás and throughout the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. In the extreme south of Mato Grosso and central-west of Mato Grosso do Sul there is a possibility of hail. The weather remains stable only in the extreme north of the state of Goiás.
On Friday (12), the weather remains unstable with the possibility of rain in all states of the region, remaining stable only in the extreme northwest of Mato Grosso and north of Goiás. The rains may occur in the form of showers with thunderstorms in the western and southern part of Mato Grosso, the entire state of Mato Grosso do Sul, and the south-central part of the state of Goiás. In the Federal District there is a possibility of isolated rain, which may be more intense in some places.
For the next few days, temperatures will range from lows near 20 and 21 °C across much of the region to highs of 35 °C in north-central Mato Grosso. In the Federal District, minimum temperatures may drop below 15 °C.
On Thursday (11), instability will cause rain showers in São Paulo, southern Minas Gerais, the Minas Gerais triangle and the Costa Verde region of Rio de Janeiro. In other areas of the southeast region, the weather remains stable. Minimum temperatures in the mountainous regions of the states of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais may reach 6°C. In other areas, minimum temperatures will vary between 14°C and 20°C. Maximum temperatures will range between 18°C in southern and southwestern Minas Gerais and 34°C in northern Minas.
For Friday (12), there is still a forecast of rain showers in the states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. Minimum temperatures in the mountainous regions of Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais will be below 10°C and will range between 15°C and 20°C in other areas of the states. Maximum temperatures will range between 18°C in the coastal region of São Paulo and 34°C in northern Minas Gerais.
On Thursday (11) the forecast for the southern region is for rain showers in the states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. For the west and mid-west of Santa Catarina, much of Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná, the 24-hour accumulations may exceed 40 mm.
Minimum temperatures range from 10°C in the mountainous areas of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina to 18°C in northwestern Paraná. Maximum temperatures vary from 12°C in the mountains of Santa Catarina and central Rio Grande do Sul to 30°C in northwestern Paraná.
On Friday (12), the forecast for rain showers remains for the states of Paraná and Santa Catarina. The largest accumulations are expected in the central-east and east of Santa Catarina and a large part of Paraná. In these areas, the accumulations in 24 hours may exceed 50 mm. For Rio Grande do Sul there is a possibility of isolated showers on the east coast of the state.
Minimum temperatures range from 8°C in southern Rio Grande do Sul to 20°C in northwestern Paraná. Maximum temperatures vary between 12°C in the mountains of Santa Catarina and northeastern Rio Grande do Sul to 28°C in northwestern Paraná.
