Despite the difficulties related to productivity last year, the outlook is for Brazilian agribusiness to grow, as revealed by the Systematic Survey of Agricultural Production (LSPA/IBGE). The national harvest of grains, cereals and legumes is expected to reach 288 million tons in 2023, an increase of 9,6% compared to estimates from the previous year. Strengthening its strategic apex, Stoller do Brasil begins the year focused on the needs of producers who faced great challenges in climatic conditions, in the search for the use of efficient inputs and, currently, seek understanding of the best paths towards greater productivity and sustainability in their business.

And one of the ways to be present in this producer's routine occurs with greater efficiency when the company invests in professionals, especially those who will be providing service in the field, helping these producers make decisions. In this context, Stoller invests and innovates every year in the knowledge management of its team of employees. This is the case of the Brazilian Stoller Congress, which reached its third edition this month.

For Afonso Celso Ferreira Pinto, leader in knowledge management at the company, the fact of carrying out a complete immersion of the entire commercial team, enables the development of competence and systemic knowledge that encompasses practices in the field, in addition to the exchange of experience between everyone, to add more and more value to customers’ businesses.

“The balance of the event held this year in Avaré-SP brought an experience that enables active and networked learning, promoting interaction and exchange of knowledge between professionals. The construction of this process was carried out through great teamwork across different areas of the company, relying on synergy between the human management, market development, research and development, communication, customer experience (CX) and Grupo Satélite teams, composed of RTVs from each region of the country”, explains Afonso.

Among the events proposed by the III Brazilian Stoller Congress, the highlight was the technical plenary, composed of technical experts external to the company, who presented complete material on phenology and systemic crop management. In the following days, innovation in the conduct of activities occurred when professionals were divided into two groups that had mixed experiences between the field and the classroom.

“So that everyone could have richer learning experiences, each group visited a hub area in Arandú-SP on alternate days, where they participated in activities that addressed the use of technologies in crops in a practical way, in addition to discussing practical cases in the room. and solve real problems with solutions aimed at farmers”, he adds.

On the last day of the event, it was time to focus on strategies and business, delving into the details of strategic planning and getting to know aspects of CX and communication better. “This is a great learning opportunity with a focus on adding value to our clients’ businesses”, he concludes.
