Helm do Brasil welcomed at its stand, at the 31st edition of the Rural Show, a visit from 40 rural producers, members of the Women of Agro Rally. This project, supported by the company, promotes interviews and editorial actions to enhance female participation in the sector.

During the visit, the producers got to know HELM do Brasil a little more, with emphasis on SKYFLD, the company's precision agriculture tool. “The meeting was very positive”, declared Edina Franciose, coordinator of the group of agricultural women in the city of Mangueirinha, in Paraná. “We think SKYFLD is very good and it is essential that we have access to this type of information, as we are developing great work within the gate.”

A study published in 2019 by the Center for Advanced Studies in Applied Economics (CEPEA), at Esalq/USP, showed that there was an 8,3% increase in the number of women working in agribusiness in recent years. In addition to this study, research carried out by the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (ABAG), published at the end of 2019, showed that 73% of women in agriculture work within the gate, with 58% being partners or owners.

“Women are joining forces and adding a lot”, declared producer Sayonara Almeida. “We are studying, looking for new technologies and improvements. Therefore, visiting the HELM do Brasil stand was very positive, as it showed us several possibilities”.

The Rally Mulheres do Agro initiative is supported by Helm do Brasil. According to Sebastian Lueth, director of Crop Protection, this approach is fundamental. “We seek to be close to producers, understand their needs and help them find solutions, with products and technologies that effectively provide results for their crops and activities.”
