The coming days will be marked by storms with high rainfall volumes in Rio Grande do Sul. Accumulated rainfall may exceed 150 mm in areas of the South, Campanha and Western Frontier regions. In other locations in the southern half, rainfall volumes should vary between 50 mm and 150 mm throughout the period. The trend for the period between May 12 and 14 indicates a predominance of dry weather in practically the entire state of Rio Grande do Sul. This is what is indicated in the Integrated Agrometeorological Bulletin 19/2025, from the Secretariat of Agriculture (Seapi), in partnership with Emater/RS and the Rio Grande do Sul Rice Institute (Irga).

Friday (9/5): instabilities are expected to increase across the state, with accumulations potentially reaching significant volumes in all regions.

Saturday (10/5): instabilities may be displaced to the northeast of the state, restricting rainfall to areas of the North Coast, Serra and Metropolitan Region, in lower volumes than in previous days.

Sunday (11/5): Dry and stable weather should prevail in all regions.

Monday (12/5): the action of a migratory anticyclone over the Atlantic Ocean, close to the state, will keep conditions stable, with open skies and mild temperatures.

Tuesday (13 / 5) e Wednesday (14/5): The advance of high pressure could favor the formation of clouds over the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, and isolated, low-volume rains cannot be ruled out in these areas. In other regions, dry weather should prevail, with a gradual rise in temperatures over the days.

The forecast for the next six days indicates the occurrence of heavy rains, especially concentrated in the southern half of Rio Grande do Sul. Accumulations may exceed 150 mm in areas of the South, Campanha and Western Frontier regions.

In other locations in the southern half, volumes are expected to vary between 50 mm and 150 mm throughout the period. In the northern half of the state, the forecast points to less significant rainfall, with accumulations between 10 mm and 50 mm.
