Heather Van Nest assumes vice presidency at John Deere

Executive to lead product management in precision agriculture and production

Heather Van Nest has assumed the role of Vice President of Product Management for Precision Agriculture and Production at John Deere. In her new position, she will be responsible for developing solutions aimed at creating value for agricultural customers on a global scale.

Prior to her appointment, Heather led John Deere's after-sales and customer support area in the United States and Canada. She served as director of the area between March 2024 and June 2026. During that time, she worked with dealers, customers, and teams dedicated to maintaining customer operations.

Heather's career at John Deere includes roles in precision agriculture, production systems, sales, marketing, and financial services. Between March 2023 and March 2024, she served as director of production systems and precision agriculture for Latin America.

Heather Van Nest holds an MBA in strategic management from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She also holds a bachelor's degree in art and design from Iowa State University.
