On May 28th, the Plano Safra Seminar - Agricultural Technology in Food Supply and Inflation Control will take place at the Golden Tulip Hotel, in Brasília (DF). Promoted by the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industry, the hybrid event is open for registration and can be attended both in person and online.
The timing is strategic: while the government defines the policies of the 2025 Harvest Plan, the seminar seeks to contribute to the formulation of more effective public policies aligned with the real needs of Brazilian agribusiness. The program will bring together parliamentarians, executive authorities and leaders of the agricultural sector.
The proposal is to discuss three critical points for food security and the fight against inflation: grain storage, irrigation and the use of modern agricultural machinery. The adoption of technologies in these areas is seen as essential to ensure stability in production, reduce losses, increase the supply of food and, thus, contain inflationary pressure.
“This is a technical and qualified debate, which reaffirms Abimaq's commitment to the sustainable development of Brazilian agriculture, with a focus on structural solutions and consistent public policies”, says José Velloso, executive president of Abimaq/Sindimaq, responsible for the event's opening ceremony.
The program's highlights include thematic panels, with the participation of names such as federal deputy Alceu Moreira, national secretary of Agricultural Policy Guilherme Campos Júnior, and the presidents of the Abimaq Sector Chambers: Paulo Bertolini (storage), Cristiano Del Nero (irrigation) and Pedro Estevão (agricultural machinery). Also participating as keynote speakers are the executive director of Aprosoja Brasil, Fabrício Rosa, and the director of Agribusiness at Bradesco, Roberto França.
Those interested in participating in the Plano Safra Seminar - Agricultural Technology in Food Supply and Inflation Control can register on the Abimaq website (https://conteudo.abimaq.org.br/tecnologia-agricola).
