Brazilian corn exports remain intense. In the first weeks of November, 2,28 million tons of corn were shipped, with an average daily flow of 286 thousand tons, according to Secex.

If this daily performance is maintained until the end of this month, exports could total 5,7 million tons in November, which would be double the volume shipped in the same month of 2021.

Cepea researchers indicate that, despite the good progress of the summer harvest and the proximity of the harvest in the United States, international demand has been driven by logistical difficulties faced in the Black Sea and the reduction in production in the European Union, due to the drought.
