Massey launches MF500R sprayers with optional weather station
In addition to the onboard technology, booms from 30m to 36m and the Liquidlogic spraying system are part of the automaker's latest developments.
The introduction of electric vehicles to the Brazilian market for the transport of cargo and passengers, specifically in the urban segment, brought the need for investments in tires with more reinforced carcasses, in addition to a higher load index to meet the new requirements of this segment. Following this trend, Goodyear presents improvements to its URBAN MAX tire line, with a reinforced carcass, higher load index and higher speed index.
Goodyear, in the first phase, introduced the 215/75R17.5 tire to meet these new requirements and is also expanding the portfolio, with the introduction of the new 235/75R17.5 size.
The Urban Max model tires were developed to provide maximum durability in urban and intercity applications, through technologies that include a special compound in the tread, a design optimized for this application and a carcass construction structure, which allows for greater durability in the face of the challenges of the segment.
The improvements presented provide:
• The highest load index on the market, with 200 kg more capacity in the 215/75R17.5 tire and 240 kg more load in the 235/75R17.5 tire;
• Higher speed index, going from J (100 km/h) to K (110 km/h);
• A quieter tire in terms of noise level.
The Urban Max tire is a tire for directional use and moderate traction, perfect for urban service needs. With the new load capacity, Urban Max tires now have the EDR (Electric Drive Ready) seal, meaning they are also prepared for electric vehicles.
“The renewal of Urban Max tires is part of Goodyear's objective of anticipating market trends, through a culture of innovation, always presenting solutions for its consumers that benefit from the superior and proven performance of its products. The arrival of electric vehicles is a major trend for the future and, with this investment, Goodyear guarantees its consumers the possibility of also being part of this trend”, says Fabio Garcia, Senior Marketing Manager at Goodyear in Brazil.
"Goodyear is proud to be part of the electrification initiative with Urban Max tires, now 'Electric Drive Ready', supporting greater load capacities. Our tires aim to support both fleets that operate fuel vehicles, as well as which are introducing electric buses and trucks, seeking to reduce their carbon emissions to meet environmental goals that are trending around the world, which is in line with Goodyear's sustainability strategy”, says Ricardo Gloria Oliveira, Product Director Commercials for Latin America.
The Urban Max 215 and 235 line with a higher load index will be available for sale in the main Goodyear stores in the country from May 02nd.
