Boa Safra opened the company's 1st Distribution Center in Paraíso (TO). In total, there are 9.375 m² prepared to receive soybean, corn, sorghum and forage seeds to serve producers in Tocantins and the region. In addition to promoting logistical ease in the delivery of inputs, more than 100 direct and indirect jobs were created in the region with the arrival of the company.

According to Conab, Tocantins should have the 2nd highest growth in grain area in this 2023/24 harvest. To offer a quality infrastructure to serve the region, the Center's total storage capacity is 13.300, with 3.325 bags per cold chamber, the company's own process to keep the grains in better conditions. In soybean cultivation alone, which is predominant in the state, the estimate is that the CD supplies between 20 and 25 trucks per day, equivalent to 800 to 1.000 bags/day.

The structure of the distribution center incorporates refrigerated chambers, extending the storage period in ideal conditions for the seeds, preserving their quality and vitality until the moment they are sent to farmers. This procedure contributes to increased productivity and revenue in the field, culminating in greater customer satisfaction.

The Boa Safra Distribution Center in Tocantins took 10 months to complete and had a financial investment of around R$21 million. The construction site was chosen due to its privileged position that facilitates access to the northern region, via BR153 and TO080, which should contribute to the growth of Boa Safra's participation in states such as Pará.

"The inauguration of another CD symbolizes Boa Safra's commitment to seed excellence, from production in processing units to delivery to customers. The new Distribution Center brings us even closer to rural producers in Tocantins and the North of country, which we wish to be close to and serve with all the care they deserve", emphasized Marino Colpo, CEO of Boa Safra.
