Mato Grosso is currently responsible for 18,8% of all financial revenue from Brazilian agribusiness, according to IBGE data for 2024. The state attracts investments and technologies in the sector, as is the case of Boa Safra, the largest producer of soybean seeds in Brazil, which opened two Distribution Centers in the state this week, in Ribeirão Cascalheira and Campo Novo do Parecis. The expansion is part of the company's business strategy to be increasingly present in strategic markets.
At the inauguration event, Boa Safra CEO Marino Colpo (pictured) highlighted that the goal is to offer more facilities to rural producers in Mato Grosso. “By being closer to the producer, the Boa Safra CD allows seeds to be picked up on a date that is appropriate for the planting window in that region. This strategy reinforces our commitment to the quality of the delivery we make,” he stated.
In total, the company's investment in the two new distribution centers totals R$3 million, boosting the local economy. Each distribution center can store up to 13,3 big bags in 6 m² of refrigerated warehouses, suitable for seed storage. In total, there is 9.375 m² of built area. The distribution center in Ribeirão Cascalheira is located on Highway BR-158 and in Campo Novo do Parecis it is located on Highway MT-235, at KM 12. The choice of cities was strategic to serve Mato Grosso and the northern region of Brazil, positioning Boa Safra with distribution centers in all important areas of the country.
“Boa Safra invests in logistics to ensure fast and efficient delivery of its products to customers. With the new structure, we hope to increasingly improve the customer journey, ensuring even greater quality, punctuality and safety in deliveries,” concludes Glaube Caldas, Operations Director at Boa Safra.
