Gânica appointed Geovane Monteiro as the new Cerrado Business Unit Manager. The region is one of the highlights in food production in the country, not only for its productivity, but for the potential for applying sustainable agricultural practices. The company's objective is to strengthen its operations in this region in favor of regenerative agriculture.
The professional has a degree from the Escola Agrotecnica Federal de Rio Verde (GO) and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cuiabá. He has an Executive MBA with an emphasis on Customer Management, from EMI, and in Business Management, from FGV, in addition to specializations in international institutions.
He has more than 25 years of experience in agribusiness, 15 of which were dedicated to leading high-performance sales teams. Having worked in large and medium-sized companies, he also worked in the Distribution and Direct Sales sector in multinationals.
“I hope to contribute to the development of the company in the Cerrado through the use of excellent technology and high-quality solutions. The time is right, due to the growing adoption of organic products by rural producers”, he says.
