Gabriel Vieira will now lead strategy and innovation at Ruveon

The global strategy for Ruveon's glyphosate business will now be led by Gabriel Vieira Fernandez Pereira Silva (pictured). The executive recently assumed the position of Head of Strategy and Innovation at the Bayer Group subsidiary dedicated to glyphosate, based in St. Louis, Missouri, in the United States.

The role encompasses responsibilities such as portfolio management, market intelligence, innovation, regulatory strategy, and partnership development. Gabriel will also participate in defining investment and development priorities and in supporting the decisions of the company's board of directors and council.

Before joining Ruveon, the executive built an eight-year career at Bayer, where he held various positions related to finance, strategy, and business management. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Glyphosate Strategy and Asset Optimization, leading initiatives related to long-term strategy, portfolio management, partnerships, and business transformation.

With over ten years of experience in agribusiness, Gabriel also has experience in financial planning, commercial operations, and product management. He holds a degree in Economics from PUC Minas and a master's degree in Financial Management from Insper.
