Frosts in some regions leave wheat producers on alert

With the recent cold front, frosts were recorded in part of the wheat-producing regions in Brazil. This scenario, according to Cepea researchers, worries some farmers, especially those who have crops in the flowering and grain filling phases. However, it has not yet been possible to estimate losses and/or impacts on cereal quality.

Harvest

Activities began slowly in Paraná and should be intensified next month. As a result, negotiations continue on a timely basis, which, in turn, has limited price drops.
