According to state analyzes contained in the Logistics Bulletin, a study published by Conab last Friday (20/05), Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul were some of the states that saw a decline in freight prices throughout the month of April .
The decrease in values was due to the reduction in state movements, especially the soybean harvest. In the state of Goiás, movement was considered by most carriers to be the same or slightly weaker than in the same period last year, with freight prices remaining stable or falling for most routes.
As for the Federal District, the freight market is firm. According to the Bulletin, cargo movement has been recovering well due to the increase in the supply of corn, caused by the increase in the second crop cereal harvest.
In Paraná, freight prices remain stable when compared to the previous month, and in Bahia freight prices showed reductions in April, influenced by the completion of the soybean harvest in the Center-West and the predominance of rainy weather in the region where the port of Cotegipe, in Salvador.
Exports
Soybean and corn exports made by Brazil followed different movements throughout April. According to an analysis by the Logistics Bulletin, a continuous decline in the volume of soybean exports was observed throughout the month, which reached 11,48 million tons, showing a drop of 6,3%, compared to the previous month, and 28,7. 21% compared to April/690. Regarding corn, the volume exported in March this year (almost insignificant when compared to the quantities of previous months) reached XNUMX thousand tons in April, a result of the influence generated by the product's international prices.
