Forseed launched the FS422 and FS656 corn hybrids during Expodireto, in Não-Me-Toque, focusing on productive stability, predictability, and high yield potential. The company targets producers facing climatic and phytosanitary pressures, especially the impacts of the corn leafhopper.

According to Élcio Marques, national marketing manager at Forseed, the new materials are designed to meet the demands of the field in different production systems.

"The FS422 and FS656 hybrids are arriving precisely to support this moment in agriculture in the region, offering materials that provide predictability, security, and high performance in different production systems," he states.

FS422 maintains tolerance to water stress, a relevant point for coping with periods of drought. Another advantage lies in its tolerance to the corn stunt complex, a characteristic that gains importance with the advance of the corn leafhopper in the crops.

The FS656 targets intensive systems and producers seeking high performance with predictability. The hybrid has dual aptitude. It can be used for grain production in the South of the country and for high-performance silage in the Central-East region. The material also exhibits tolerance to stunting diseases.
