PR 2025/26 Crop: 79% of corn crops are in good condition.

In the Conjunctural Bulletin published this Wednesday (June 3), the Department of Rural Economy of Paraná (Deral), an agency linked to the Secretariat of Agriculture (Seab), highlights the stability of the second corn crop in the State. 

Monitoring by Deral confirms that the planted area will remain at 2,9 million hectares for the 2025/26 cycle. Of the total crops cultivated in Paraná, 79% are in good condition, 14% are in fair condition, and only 7% are considered poor. 

Deral analyst Edmar Wardensk Gervasio points out that although the excess of cloudy days and lower temperatures require caution regarding the production ceiling, the forecast of a period without frost for the next 14 days maintains the optimism of producers.
