Coffee cultivation is extremely important for Brazilian agribusiness, as Brazil is the world's largest producer of beans. With a history that blends with that of the country itself, coffee farming has evolved a lot since its beginning, continuing to evolve and expand today. With it, cultivation techniques, the products used and the quality of Brazilian coffee also evolved. In this sense, one of the products that stand out are foliar fertilizers and biofertilizers.

In coffee farming, the use of foliar fertilizers and biofertilizers aims to meet the nutritional requirements of coffee trees and provide plants with greater "physiological efficiency", a term used to characterize plantations in their best capacity to absorb and use nutrients to improve their quality and, consequently, productivity. Currently, producers are increasingly looking for products that have this function.

Cleber Bianchi Possebon, regional manager of Microquimica Tradecorp, a company that operates in the production and commercialization of biofertilizers, foliar fertilizers, inoculants, adjuvants and plant growth regulators, explains that by using a biofertilizer in crops it is possible to get the most out of plants – from the beginning of its cultivation, until its full development. This is because these products help to produce a balanced environment in all aspects. "Vorax Biofertilizer, for example, in addition to stimulating plant development, reduces damage caused by stress - especially water stress. Thus, there is greater growth of branches and roots and improvements in fruits, making the harvest of higher quality and productivity" , scores.

To further maximize results, the expert highlights that coffee crops see an even greater increase in production when Vorax Biofertilizer and Pumma foliar fertilizer are used together, with nutrients enriched with organic ingredients that promote an effect called osmoreregulation, which maintains the photosynthetic activity of plants high even in moderate stress conditions, enabling the vegetative and reproductive development of plants close to the ideal conditions for their development.

Together, biofertilizer and foliar fertilizer provide enriched nutrition and stimulation for crops, significantly assisting coffee growers in obtaining better, more productive and profitable harvests.

Other solutions

In addition to Vorax Biofertilizante and Pumma, the company also has other products for coffee growing. "We were the first company to launch crop products in Brazil within our segment. We have the Ager line, for example, which has liquid micronutrients based on chloride; Grex Café, a pioneering foliar fertilizer in the country, with a balanced ratio of macro and micronutrients, providing nutrients in a balanced way for the plant; we were also pioneers in developing products based on algae extracts for crops, in addition to many other solutions that are recommended for coffee producers", explains the regional manager of Microquimica Tradecorp, Cleber Bianchi Possebon.

Another solution for coffee growers is the CheckFolha Café application, designed to help ensure crop nutrition security by analyzing leaves and identifying the best actions for good development. To do this, it has an interpretation mode based on nutritional relationships, which allows evaluation at any stage of the crop. It is available for download at Play Store e App Store.
