Field research collects data from the sugarcane harvest in Mato Grosso

Between October 25th and 29th, technicians from the National Supply Company (Conab), in Mato Grosso, will be in the field to collect information about the sugarcane harvest and corn-based ethanol produced in the state. The results of the research work carried out this week will be released in the 3rd Survey of the 2021/2022 Sugarcane Harvest, scheduled to take place on November 23rd.

The survey includes research at the plants full (which only crush corn) and mills flex (corn and sugarcane), in addition to those exclusively made from sugarcane. The information collected refers to the area cultivated with the raw material and the result in the production of ethanol and sugar. The general conditions of crops, the influence of climate, cultural practices and marketing issues involving the commodity.

The research is carried out in twelve producing municipalities in the state, including Sorriso and Barra dos Bugres.
