In a global scenario of uncertainty and escalating fuel and fertilizer prices, technological precision has ceased to be a trend and has become the central pillar of profitability in the field. Aware of this challenge, Fendt, a German agricultural machinery manufacturer belonging to the AGCO group, positions the Suplantar Combo, the integration between the Fendt Momentum planter (18 to 24 row models) and the 700 and 800 Vario series tractors, as the most efficient solution on the market for intelligent input management and energy optimization.

The great advantage of the Fendt Momentum lies in the integration of technologies that directly address one of the biggest bottlenecks for producers: fertilizer waste. Equipped with the vApply Granular system, the equipment allows for rigorous control of fertilizer sections and row variation of less than 10%. In practice, this precision reduces product overlap by up to 50%, especially in headland areas, ensuring the rational use of inputs and protecting the soil's productive potential.

The planter's efficiency is enhanced by the Suplantar Combo, which combines powerful Fendt tractors with the Fendt Momentum. This combination adapts flawlessly to any terrain, delivering a solution that reduces fuel consumption and optimizes the use of the equipment. The result for the producer is clear: lower cost per hectare and maximum profitability.

“Since the tractor, via the Vario transmission system, can adjust its speed according to the implement's needs, and the planter has indicators that show the ideal planting speed, this combination delivers better energy efficiency. In this way, the farmer can make the most of the available resources, seeking the best use of the planting window without sacrificing planting quality,” highlights Leonardo Casali, Product Marketing Coordinator at Fendt.

Sustainability in seed emergence

To ensure that each seed expresses its maximum potential, the Fendt Momentum utilizes the Fendt Smart Frame. The system maintains constant pressure on the combs relative to the ground with an angle of up to 40° provided by Wing Flex. Furthermore, the exclusive Weight Transfer system redistributes the central weight of the machine to the side modules, resulting in a 7% increase in plant emergence.

Beyond operational performance, Fendt has solved one of the sector's biggest logistical challenges: transportation. Even in the large models, the 18- to 24-row planter reaches only 3,6 meters in width when folded. The process is done in 45 seconds, directly from the cab, allowing the farmer to move the equipment between fields with unparalleled agility and safety.
