The evolution of agricultural machinery stands out as one of the main pillars for increasing efficiency and sustainability in Brazilian agriculture. The integration of automated systems, advanced sensors and digital connectivity in state-of-the-art equipment has revolutionized the routine of producers, allowing for more precise decisions and optimized operations at all stages of production.

The Fendt Ideal harvesters is an example of this technological advancement. Designed to offer high performance and consistent results, the machines feature intelligent systems that monitor performance in real time, optimizing the use of resources and ensuring efficiency during harvesting. This sophistication is essential to meet the growing demand for food and strengthen more sustainable agricultural practices.

According to Fernando Petroli, Fendt's product marketing coordinator, "technology in the field is no longer an option, it is a necessity. Advanced agricultural machinery, such as Fendt Ideal harvesters, are essential to ensure that rural producers can not only increase their productivity, but also improve the sustainability of their operations."

Fendt developed the Ideal line based on the real needs of Brazilian farmers, offering versions that meet the needs of everything from grain harvesting to optimizing straw quality. Among the distinguishing features, the 17.100-liter tank — the largest on the market — and the 210 l/s discharge speed stand out, providing greater agility and productivity in the field.

Transformation in agricultural operations

Another highlight is the energy efficiency and the helical separation system, which guarantees high grain quality without compromising the straw. According to Petroli, the technologies on board provide a true transformation in the management of agricultural operations, maximizing yield and reducing waste in a sustainable way.

The recently launched Fendt Ideal 25, presented at Agrishow, brings innovations such as the Dual Helix Processor system — with the largest rotors on the market and 45% more threshing area — and a 25% larger cleaning system, with compensation of up to 15% of slope, ideal for uneven terrain. These features result in more efficient harvesting, with lower fuel consumption and an increase in productivity of over 10%.

One of the factors responsible for this result is the HarvestPlus system, which optimizes the operator experience. Its automation system ensures maximum efficiency in operation, reducing losses, improving the quality of the harvested material and minimizing the use of resources. Other features of the Fendt harvester include features such as AutoTurn, which facilitates maneuvers and reduces the need for manual intervention, and the Teach-in system, which executes pre-programmed functions, providing greater comfort to the operator and reducing the risk of error.

Designed to operate for longer with fewer stops, the Fendt Ideal 25 features engines tuned to operate at 1.900 rpm, an AirSense cooling system — which maintains performance even in adverse conditions — and an exclusive dust ejector, improving visibility and safety during harvesting. The adjustable discharge tube tip and the new Draper platform track drive also contribute to greater durability and operational efficiency.
