Fendt 800 Vario and 1000 Vario conquer AE50 2026 in the United States.

Fendt received two AE50 2026 awards in the United States. The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABEA) awarded the Fendt 800 Vario tractors and the new generation of the Fendt 1000 Vario. The organization presented the awards before the National Farm Machinery Show.

The announcement was made during the Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference, promoted by Asabe. The award selects 50 innovations in agricultural technology each year. The jury evaluates the level of innovation, technical advancement, and market impact.

The Fendt team in North America unveiled the Fendt 1000 Vario Gen4 at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky. The model had already made its public debut at the Farm Progress Show.

Christoph Gröblinghoff, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Fendt, stated that the 800 Vario and 1000 Vario series meet the demands of producers in different regions. According to him, the machines allow for market-specific configuration, with options for tires, track width, and self-cleaning air filter. The executive highlighted that, since 2020, 16 Fendt products have earned the AE50 award.

Fifth generation

A fifth generation of the Fendt 800 Vario It underwent a complete redesign. The tractor uses an AGCO Power CORE80 six-cylinder, 8-liter engine. The assembly delivers up to 343 hp. The package includes VarioDrive, an integrated VarioGrip tire pressure control system, a dual pump option for greater hydraulic flow, a self-cleaning air filter, a new cab with FendtONE, and the UltraVision lighting concept. The jury highlighted its performance and low fuel consumption.

fourth generation

O Fendt 1000 Vario, fourth generation.According to the company, this model is the world's largest standard tractor. It features an engine with up to 550 hp in a compact chassis with VarioDrive technology. The operator can adjust power levels according to the implement and operation, reducing fuel consumption and preserving implements. All four models in the series accept the VarioGrip system. The cab can be equipped with footrests, a seat with massage function, and UltraVision lighting.
