Federal agricultural tax auditors hold General Assembly on Friday

Next Friday (29/06), federal agricultural tax auditors (Affas) will carry out a series of activities in celebration of Federal Agricultural Tax Auditor Day, celebrated on June 30th. Among the activities is a General Assembly that can approve a strike indication.

There will be actions in all States, and part of the meeting will be broadcast from the Port of Santos. "We will hold our General Assembly via videoconference. We will present to the entire category a counter-proposal to the Agricultural Defense modernization project that the Ministry brought to us in March. We will also debate other points of demand for the category, such as salary equality with other auditing careers and the urgent holding of a public competition", explains the director of professional policy at the National Union of Federal Agricultural Tax Auditors (Anffa Sindical), Antônio Andrade. In addition to the assembly, in Santos, there will be breakfast and lectures throughout the day.

The modernization proposal was presented in March by the Secretary of Agricultural Defense of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa). Anffa Sindical analyzed the proposal, discussed it with the category and the result of this work will be presented on Friday. "We agree with much of the project presented, but there are divergences and these, for us, are unacceptable, such as the limitation of the powers of the Agricultural Defense Secretariat", says Andrade. The union added to the proposal processes that value meritocracy in occupying positions and training throughout the auditor's professional life.

According to Andrade, if the proposal is approved by the category, a meeting will be scheduled with the minister so that delivery can take place in person. "The General Assembly will also deal with our other points of demand, such as the holding of a public competition to fill the 2.500 vacancies that are open, the payment of the additional borders, already agreed with the Map and very partially fulfilled, and the equalization salary compared to other auditor careers", explains Andrade.

In all states, Anffa union offices will carry out activities. In Brasília, the day will begin with breakfast in the Mapa auditorium, shortly afterwards, the auditors will attend the General Assembly and, at the end of the day, there will be a career anniversary celebration. "We suggest that police stations promote debates and lectures on career development. There are states that will hold, for example, lectures on private pensions, others will hold a debate on work improvements", comments Anffa Sindical's mobilization coordinator, Welciton Alves .

"The category awaits the result of the notices issued by the minister of agriculture to the minister of planning, which request replacement of personnel and leveling with other audit careers", highlights the director of communication and public relations at Anffa Sindical, Roberto Siqueira Filho. "Despite the delay, we still believe in Minister Blairo Maggi's strength and will to resolve these issues", he concludes.
