February monthly average of the cotton indicator reaches record

The average of February of the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator for cotton lint, of R$ 6,9805/lp, reached a nominal record, being 2,47% higher than that of January/22 and 45,75% higher than in February/21.

According to Cepea researchers, throughout the month, buyers purchased lots to meet immediate needs and/or to replenish stocks, but sought to reduce the amounts paid, given the difficulties in transferring the costs to your products.
