Frosts in some regions leave wheat producers on alert

Feather prices are on the rise in the national spot market, according to data from Cepea. Between August 16th and 23rd, the CEPEA/ESALQ Indicator, with payment in 8 days, rose a significant 5,1%, closing at R$ 6,6151/lp this Tuesday, 23rd. In the partial month, the Indicator accumulates increase of 10,48%.
Prices were influenced by concerns about supply in the Northern Hemisphere, especially in the United States (due to the dry climate), and by greater optimism regarding demand.
