On his first day of work as Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Minister Carlos Fávaro received international representatives this Monday (2/1) to discuss the relationship between Brazilian agriculture and global food security.
The United Kingdom's Minister for Environment, Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Thérèse Coffey, was at Mapa to talk about cooperation issues between the two countries. “It is very important on my first day of work to have the United Kingdom sharing the same objectives,” said the minister.
Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yuliia Svrydenko, also visited the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture. On the agenda, the main topic was the possibility of importing fertilizers into Brazil. Federal deputy Neri Geller, who was part of the Agriculture Working Group in the government transition, also participated in the meeting.
