With a focus on helping producers increase their productivity rates, Trimble.Inc participates in the 27th edition of Agrishow with the presentation of technologies aimed at sowing and spraying. “With seeds and fertilizer in the correct dosage, favorable climate and the use of precision agriculture, success is practically guaranteed”, assesses José Carlos Bueno, Trimble's commercial director for Latin America.

During the event, experts will show that good results start with choosing a quality seed and also with its correct distribution. Trimble's planting solutions include equipment such as automatic pilot, application with rate control, section cutting or line by line, these are solutions that help the producer to have a crop at the best cost and more productive.

Visitors to Agrishow will also be able to see the operation of the Field-IQ ISOBUS system, equipment that is easy to install on implements that enable line-by-line control of planting, as well as control of fertilizer and seed rates. With it, the farmer will be able to control up to 96 sections of the planter, with automatic shutdown of the lines. This technology helps the producer to eliminate failures and overlaps, which results in increased productivity, in addition to saving inputs.

Trimble technology monitors and analyzes seed distribution, population, singulation and seed spacing to achieve better productivity results. So that the operator can focus his attention solely on the planting operation, Trimble also offers guidance technologies for implements, such as TrueGuide™. Suitable for cereal crops, this solution corrects the position of the implement by moving the tractor, without requiring adaptation to the equipment.

Trimble's autopilot system, accompanied by the GFX-350 monitor, for example, guarantees high performance in your planting system. In addition to maximum resistance, robustness and easy operation, the monitor can be installed on tractors with or without a cabin, with compatibility with the most modern Trimble receivers and pilots, which allows the producer to add and pay for features according to the property's needs.

Just like smartphones, the Trimble GFX-350 is equipped with the Android system, so it is very intuitive. The monitor can be used on any tractor on the market and different types of crops, but it is recommended for producers who want to take the first step towards precision agriculture.

Lígia Amaral, Marketing and Communications Manager at Trimble Agriculture in Latin America, highlights that Trimble's focus is to offer producers easy-to-use technologies that simplify their daily lives. “All of this makes agriculture an increasingly productive, profitable and sustainable activity”, observes Lígia.

She also adds that “Trimble's precision agriculture solutions have a difference because they are highly intuitive, reliable and robust, which avoids unforeseen events in the operation”. At Trimble's stand at Agrishow, visitors will be able to see how these technologies work in spaces dedicated exclusively to them.

Selective application

In addition to adequate seed dispersion, another factor that influences not only productivity, but the producer's profitability is the appropriate use of herbicides to control unwanted plants. Responsible for around 30% of production costs, these products can capture part of producers' profits. “We can have a highly productive and homogeneous harvest, reducing the use of these products by up to 95% with WeedSeeker 2, a selective application system that allows use only on the unwanted plant”, explains Trimble's commercial director for Latin America, José Carlos Bueno.

Producers attending Agrishow will be able to see the WeedSeeker 2 selective application system in operation. It is equipped with an advanced optical sensor, red and infrared light and processing power. The system detects and applies herbicides to weeds individually, promoting a reduction in the use of inputs inversely proportional to the infestation of the applied field, reaching savings of up to 95% in herbicides.

This technology adapts to all types of sprayers on the market, without the need to invest in new equipment. During the event, visitors will be able to ask questions not only about the system, but about the entire range of products that make up Trimble's precision agriculture solutions.

Find out more about some of the solutions that will be on display at the brand's stand:

Trimble GFX-350 is Trimble's newest guidance monitor. This cost-effective solution offers great functionality and a simplified installation process, providing access to automatic steering and application control for all farms. This system is recommended for different types of crops and properties.

WeedSeeker 2 is Trimble's selective spraying system, capable of generating savings of up to 95% in herbicides. Using advanced optics and processing power, the system detects and applies pesticides only to weeds, thus reducing the use of herbicides.

The Trimble RTX is the best high-precision signal correction system on the market. The CenterPoint RTX correction signal is the only one with proven repeatability and is more stable and robust to flicker moments compared to any other solution on the market.

The NAV-900 Receiver works with more constellations and, therefore, the GNSS signal (satellite navigation system similar to GPS) has a much shorter convergence time and a more robust performance with greater precision.

Agrishow takes place from April 25th to 29th in Ribeirão Preto (SP). The Trimble booth is located on A8C Precision Agriculture Street.
