One of the differences of the Famato Embrapa Show, a production technology event that takes place from June 22nd to 24th in Cuiabá-MT, is the exhibition of various equipment developed by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and ready for immediate use by rural producers . In addition to applications, computerized systems and cultivars, Cenarium Rural will become a large fair for agricultural innovations.
The 'inventions' will be exhibited at the technology fair, in seven large niches with solutions that can contribute to the sustainable advancement of agriculture in Mato Grosso.
One of them is AGLIBS 1.0, a robot created by Embrapa to scale soil analyzes carried out in the laboratory. It was developed from technology used by NASA to analyze soils on the planet Mars. The equipment performs georeferencing of field sampling, soil analysis and quantification models. After the analysis, the producer receives agronomic recommendations via cell phone, via app.
The Soy Classification equipment developed by Embrapa in partnership with the company Brasil Agritest will also be on display. It is a digital and automated system that controls the quality of the grains – helping the producer in the product marketing stage.
Antecipe is a technology composed of a seeder-fertilizer machine that sows soybeans in the summer and corn subsequently, between the oilseed crops. The idea is to intercrop the off-season corn in advance, reducing climate risk. In addition to the machine, Antecipe has an application that guides the farmer in his decision-making for the second harvest.
“The producer will have more than 60 technologies to learn about at the event. To make things easier, we took some equipment and materials to the fair that can be checked on site”, explains Ricardo Arioli, one of the technical coordinators of the Famato Embrapa Show.
In addition to equipment and devices, the Famato Embrapa Show brought together solutions anchored in IT. From applications alone, 18 systems will be exposed with specific functions for different production chains.
This great showcase of cutting-edge technologies is one of the settings for the multimedia and immersive event designed by the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato) and organized in partnership with Embrapa Agrossilvipastoril and the National Rural Learning Service (Senar-MT).
The idea of mapping the production technologies developed by Embrapa and applicable in Mato Grosso emerged in 2018. A great deal of curatorial work was done over two years and the result was the selection of more than 60 attractions designed by 14 Embrapa units for All country.
The Famato Embrapa Show begins on June 22nd, with a keynote speech with the former Minister of Agriculture and creator of Embrapa, Alysson Paolinelli. The program also includes high-level multi-thematic technical programming. The event is aimed at rural producers, researchers and agricultural consultants and is expected to receive 500 people.
